 2012 Feeding the 5000 Campaign Events  

Participate in the following planned events!

Feeding the 5000 Families 15th Anniversary Interfaith Concert: Saturday, February 25,  2012 at 7:00PM at the Congregational Church, located at 309 N. Garfield St. This is the campaign kick-off event. Every year we have some amazing local performers from various area churches donate their time to make this a unique and special event. All are welcome. Admission is a can or box of food for The Idaho Foodbank

Interfaith Prayer Service: March 10, 2012 at the Praise Temple of God, 653 North 11th Avenue in Pocatello..

Interfaith Progressive Dinner: Saturday, March 24, 2012. Cost is $15 per person or $25 per couple. 100% of the proceeds go to the Idaho Foodbank. For tickets contact a participating location or the Idaho Food Bank at 233-3229.

The Cannery in Idaho Falls:  Wednesday March 21, 2012, This yearly event takes place  at the  Cannery in Idaho Falls. Come help us can food for The Foodbank! It's a fun time. We need a minimum of 20 people. If you need transportation, meet us at Central Christian Church at 4:20 pm to ride up in the van. Please sign up to take part in this fun project! Many hands make light work.

Grocery Store Collection: Saturday,April 7, 2012  between the hours of 10AM and 4PM. Sign up to greet the public for an hour  at the door of Albertsons, Fred Meyer or Riddley's  grocery store and ask them to contribute to the Feeding the 5,000 Food Drive!

Closing Celebration:  Come celebrate the end of a successful campaign on Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Idaho Foodbank-555 S. First Street in Pocatello. The event begins at 5:45 and is free to the public, although we do ask that you bring 2 cans of either chili or vegetables. One goes in the donation barrel and one goes into a mulligan stew that will be cooked by Dutch Oven Delights and served after the service.
